You will meet ASOCALIM (Association of CAmpesinos of the LIMites), a nonprofit organization created in 2016 by a community of afro-descendant. The founders are fighting for conservation of the tropical dry forest and food security for their families, implementing new agriculture methods that respect the environment and take care of the forest. They use agro-forestry, in order to produce 100% organic food and help the reforestation of the threatened forest dry tropical.
Walk in the tropical dry forest and discover a unique ecosystem with a high biodiversity. You will be able to observe amounts of birds like the Guacharaca and hopefully see howler, Capuchin and Titi monkeys! In addition, you will have the opportunity to participate in forest conservation planting your own tree.
