San Agustin has a lot to offer including the significant San Agustin Archaeological Park which has been a UNESCO Heritage site since 1995. In this park you will be able to marvel over hundreds of Pre-Columbian statues and burial mounds. For archeological and history fanatics if the main park isn’t enough you can also visit ¨La Chaquira & the Obando Archaeological parks.
If this isn’t your cup of tea why don’t you check out either the narrowest part of Colombia’s most iconic river – The straits of Magdalena where this normally very wide river is at only 3 meters in width.
Huila is the home to some of the best coffee in Colombia so a day spent roaming the mountainside to see a coffee farm, visit Colombia´s highest waterfall – Salto de Bordones or just enjoy the fabulous views of this less touristy part of Southern Colombia.
