Discover Bogotá

With a spectacular Andean backdrop, Bogotá is the comeback city of Colombia everybody is talking about. Also the capital, it sits at 2,600 meters above sea level (8,530 ft) – on a high plateau. It’s a thriving, modern city which has been split into diverse and colorful districts. It is a city that has a lot to offer our travelers.

Plan to spend a few days or take one of our tours. We offer curated historical/cultural or coffee/gastronomy experiences.

Bogotá is a one-of-a-kind destination, apart from the many outdoor spaces inside the city and around, travelers find it an ideal place for:

  • Business
  • Exploring history
  • Food
  • Culture/Art

And so many other local customs – you won’t be able to do it all in one trip!

Length of Stay

We recommend at least two or three nights here. Must-do activities include a stroll around the cobbled streets of La Candelaria, Bogotá’s most historic neighborhood. Spend some time discovering beautiful colonial architecture and charming cafes. Bring your camera so you can bring home memories of centuries-old churches, magnificent Spanish mansions and many more unique places.

Places to See

Visit the Plaza de Bolivar before making your way to the world-renowned Museo de Oro (Gold Museum). There, you’ll find thousands of gold, stone and ceramic artifacts made by the Pre-Columbian indigenous people who occupied this territory before the Spanish Colonization.

Don’t forget to ride the funicular railway up to the 3,000-meter (9,843 ft) summit of Monserrate to soak up sweeping views of the city.

Try Their Gastronomy

Art, fashion and design are bustling along, but it’s the food that is really striking the heartstrings of Bogotá.

If you have a taste for fine dining visit Zona G, Zona Rosa, Parque 93 and Usaquen. These districts are packed with stylish, tasteful restaurants and trendy bars.

Immerse Yourself in the Lifestyle

Colombia is rapidly becoming a must-see tourist destination, but Bogotá is also a great city to live in. It has an affinity for culture , and is charged with a magnetic energy that fills the beautiful sights.
