Amazon Three Borders Adventure
During the “Three Borders Adventure” you will visit an indigenous community in Colombia, spend the night at a family home in Brazil and visit a nature reserve in Peru.
After an ecological walk in the jungle to the indigenous Wayruru community, learning about timber trees, medicinal plants of the region and the various indigenous cultures and practices, you will be received by the Shaman or The Leader in charge. He will speak about the importance of this place within the tribe and the sacred medicines that are used.
Breakfast is followed by the hike back to the road where a taxi will be taking you to Leticia. You will take a private boat to Benjamin Constant where you will have lunch. After lunch you will continue your journey to Zacambu where you can go fishing, go on hikes, canoe or relax. You will have dinner with the local host family.
You will head back to Leticia and take the public boat to get to the Nature Reserve Marasha in Peru. On the walk to reach the Reserve ́s facilities, experience the jungle and learn some more about timber and medicinal trees. After lunch at the Nature Reserve you will have the opportunity to go Piranha fishing, bird watching, canoeing or kayaking. In the evening, after dinner, you might want to head out and try to spot some caimans.
After breakfast you will take the public boat back to Leticia and be dropped at the airport or hotel. If time allows it, you can discover a few highlights of the town before your departure.
