Begin your day with a delicious breakfast and a beautiful view. This morning you’ll take a guided tour (motorboat) to some of the most beautiful places to snorkel in the Bilflower. Marvel at multicolored coral and tropical fish of all shapes and sizes. In the afternoon you’ll have the opportunity to kayak through turquoise blue waters to Crab Cay, a small island just off the coast of Maracaibo Bay. Discover the the waters around the island as you snorkel. Climb a few minutes to the pinnacle of the island for a 360 degree view of the “sea of 7 colors”. You will find that the coral reefs just off the coast of Maracaibo Bay are also wonderful for snorkeling closer to the main land. Enjoy a delicious seafood dinner and a relaxing evening.
Today you will explore two beautiful beaches, side by side. Fresh water bay boasts of turquoise waters with a sandy bottom – perfect for swimming! Grab a snack from Captain Morgan’s general store. Walk (or bike) to neighboring Southwest beach for lunch at “Divino Nino”, famous for it’s “Plato Mixto” – a large tray containing a couple of large fish, lobster tail, shrimp, conch, coconut rice, and mashed fried green plantain – YUM! If you’re up for an adventure, take a trip to Machaneel Beach for a coconut drink at Famous Ronald’s Beach Bar.
Enjoy a free morning on the island. This afternoon your guide will pick you up at your hotel and take you to meet your horse companion for the afternoon. You will ride through the volcanic hillsides of Providence to Diamond Head, where you’ll see the beautiful blue Caribbean Sea from the hilltops! Stop to enjoy the view, and then you will continue your adventure to Machaneel beach, the most remote and exotic of the beaches on Providence Island.
Enjoy your last morning on the islands. Today you will travel back to San Andres and catch your flight back to the mainland of Colombia. Buen Viaje!
