Overview

A mystical mountain in the middle of the Cocora Valley, for its stories full of suspicious secrets, of the Los Quindos Indigenous Community. At the moment, it is of great importance for being a Natural Reserve located in Cocora Valley and for its important reforestation projects in the wax palm (Palma de Cera).

In this route, you have the opportunity to observe the wax palms and a great variety of fauna species in their natural environment as we enter its dense tropical cloud forest. Reaching its majestic summit at 3,450 meters with an incredible 270° view that this fascinating place gives us.

Our trek begins at our office at 7:30 am, we will jump into private transport that will take us, for 25 minutes, to the Cocora Valley. After taking the time to observe the ecosystem, we calmly prepare to enter this nature sanctuary.

We will make the ascent from 2,400 meters to 3,450 meters. After the ascent to the top, we will be able to enjoy for a while the panoramic view from its top to then begin the descent back to the Cocora Valley.
