Day 1 – Welcome to the Pacific

After an early flight from Medellin to the Bahia Solano airport, you will be greeted and transferred to your ecolodge, along the way view a picturesque jungle landscape until you reach El Almejal Beach, where the Lodge is located. You will be settled into your accommodation and have lunch. Free afternoon to enjoy the beach and breath in the wonders of the Pacific.

Day 2 – Nature Reserve & Turtle Night Patrol

Starting the route to the reserve you will visit the conservation projects and organic garden while appreciating the viewpoint of the ocean merging with the jungle. While in the Nature Reserve the guide will give interesting explanations about the species of the jungle and the ecosystem. You will see species of some amazing fauna and flora. Lunch. Free afternoon to enjoy the beach. At night and in the company of a local guide, you will begin the search for nesting turtles that arrive to spawn and enjoy a wonderful natural event.

Day 3 – Whale Watching

Today after breakfast you will depart on the boat for a whale watching excursion! This is a great spot to watch the spectacle of humpback whales coming to breed in this area from late June to mid-October.
